Ben Needham is a San Francisco Bay Area–based artist known for his evocative works on paper, drawing, and multidisciplinary art practice. He holds an MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute and a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College, with additional study at Parsons Paris and the Lower East Side Printshop.

Needham has exhibited widely across the U.S. and internationally, including solo and group exhibitions at venues such as the SFAI Alumni Exhibition at Diego Rivera Gallery (San Francisco), Graphite & Gouache: The Art of Ben Needham at Nielsen Arts (Berkeley), and Crosscurrents at Togonon Gallery (San Francisco), among many others. His work is included in the Skidmore College Permanent Collection and numerous private collections.

Across his practice, Needham blends refined technique with a deep engagement in material, process, and visual inquiry, continually exploring drawing as a vital, expressive medium.
