Château des Joncherets dates back to 1620, a glory period for French art, economy, and architecture. The buildings and gardens were designed and built by King Louis XIV’s most trusted men—Louis de Pontbréant, his royal squire, and André Le Nôtre, his royal architect.

The château was designed to host royal parties and decadent events; it was a place to escape from the day-to-day. We invite you to do the same!

Built along the banks of the Avre River, this property’s canals, moats, ponds, and mature 17th-century trees create a veritable château experience.
